This book was about a pig who was a runt. He was adopted by Fern to be a pet. Fern's father said when Wilbur was fat enough, he would be sent away to be made into bacon. Wilbur met a spider named Charlotte who lived in the rafters of his barn. Charlotte it her mission to save Wilbur. She came up with a plan that made Wilbur too valuable to sell. Charlotte ended up saving Wilbur's life. The genre of this book is animal fantasy. I give this book five stars because it had wonderful description and I loved the ending.
